This empty container, along with all the others like it, are used to create a Bundle of Groceries. These require only the listed contents to create (usually 20 of the item listed). The bundle can be turned in to Nam Ironpaw for an Ironpaw Token. This essentially gives you the ability to farm mats for cooking tokens. The bundles can be created repeatedly with no daily limit to my knowledge.

You have to complete the series of cooking quests in Halfhill including Preserving Freshness in order to have the option of turning these into Nam. You do not have to be level 90 to do this.

This container is obtainable from Merchant Cheng. Since a recent hotfix it is no longer unique which means you can buy and carry more than one of these containers at a time.

You use this container and the amount of cooking ingredients indicated in its tooltip to make a Bundle of Groceries which is required to complete Replenishing the Pantry which becomes available after you have completed Preserving Freshness which in turn becomes available after you have completed Way of the Brew, Way of the Grill, Way of the Oven, Way of the Pot, Way of the Steamer, Way of the Wok and Way of the Wok. On a side note all these "Way of the …" quests require 530 cooking skill to which you will get by making 5 Sliced Peaches for So You Want to Be a Chef....

Here's a short overview of the ingredients used by containers like this one:
60 Golden Carp
20 of any other type of fish or meat, except Spinefish and Viseclaw Meat.
100 of any vegetable that grows on your farm.

Wowhead lists 42 different types of Bundle of Groceries but only 24 of those are available in the live version. All the containers requiring ingredients sold by vendors are currently unavailable in the live version. Also the containers requiring Spinefish or Viseclaw Meat are unavailable.

Note to consider:
If you are looking to turn in any stack of cooking ingredients to obtain an Ironpaw Token to buy other cooking ingredients then please consider trading with other players first. Most players will happily trade a fish for a piece of meat one an one to one basis while the NPC's exchange rate is far worse.

These containers are useless. It seems that once you fill the container the mats they can no longer be used for cooking. They can only be traded in for one Ironpaw Token, so unless you have an overwhelming amount of mats and they serve no leveling purposes for your cooking skills, the containers may be used to get more Ironpaw Token, otherwise they are worthless, IMHO you're better off selling the mats (ingredients) in the AH than trading them in for the Ironpaw tokens.
