Do NOT leave the area/exit vehicle, unless you want to start over collecting the bugs.

The ball has three stages of growing.

In the first stage the only thing you can pick up are the smallest purple bugs, the others will bounce you (including off cliffs). Stay close to Senegos hoovering them up until you get to stage 2.

In the second stage you'll start wanting to go up as many stairs as you can find, hoovering bugs along the way.

When you both get to the top and have hit the third stage, there will be a blue glowing sigil on the ground in front of a building entrance near 66, 12. When the glowing sigil appears on the ground you'll also get a new button on the vehicle bar. At the moment your ball is over the glowing blue patch you need to also hit the new button (which for me was mapped to hotkey 1).

You get launched into the air (I didn't appreciate that, I have a vestibular disorder) and then get credit.

- As soon as the (1rst) ball gets charged to 100%, go up the stairs rolling over the medium size bugs.
- Then when it gets charged again, roll over the bigger bugs, recharging, until you see the sigil.
- When the sigil shows (on ground) you'll get an extra action button to do the launching. Weird quest but I liked it.

I abandoned this one, it didn't work at the top (and I got tired of running it). A shame it's a part of a campaign. Oh well.

Roll up bugs, then go up the stairs, rinse and repeat

when you are on the third level, DO NOT ROLL THE BALL INTO THE TUNNEL - it will end the quest and you will need to do it all over again. happened to me

once you have the ball rolled up and are getting the big bugs on the third level and the npc is telling you to put it on a sigil, just roll around in circles so you arent leaving the quest area, and just hit the extra button that appears when you are in the sigil.

If you play with hidden bars and a UI addon that reskins vehicle UI the button to launch the orb is likely what would be your #1 spell on your bar.

Careful where you take your ball. If you accidentally drop it over the edge somewhere, you will have to start from scratch.

Senegos' arcane ball is a vehicle. Looks like the mechanics have been updated. Just run forward over the bugs -- until the end. The UI will show you pushing a ball. The bugs will stick to the ball for a few seconds, then disappear. The ball will get bigger as you run over more bugs and go up steps to more levels.

If you press 6 to pick up bugs, you’ll drop the ball and will have to return to Senegos.

At the very end, near the entrance to the Veiled Ossuary, you'll see a glowing white circle on the ground. Move to the circle and press 1 when another action button appears. The ball will be launched skyward, but you'll remain on the ground.

avoid damselflies. they'll bounce you. And slow progress way down. If you're lucky. If you're not lucky a bad fall and dead.

Rolling Out

Use Senegos's Arcane Ball to roll up the creatures lurking in the Veiled Ossuary.

Description

I remember having so much fun rolling these creatures up with my spells. Unfortunately, I fear these old bones will not let me move as quickly as I once did. I would love for you to give it a shot. Let me live vicariously through you! The more creatures you roll up, the bigger the ball becomes. The bigger the ball, the bigger the creature you can roll out. Speak to me and I shall give you my special arcane ball to roll up the creatures around here.
