I first leveled a hunter..had no idea how to play him untill i started kara, but had alot of fun leveling him. Also leveled a druid and a priest to 70, which were both slow untill their 20-30s. I rerolled a lil before wotlk, on a new server, and made a pally, alway seemed like a fun class, if not frustrating at times due to nerfs.(which can be any class in reality) Now I'm leveling a hunter and shaman at times. I just have too much fun on my main tho, never seems like their is an end to stuff to see, and with achievements it has gone another step. But I understand being alt crazy....my g/f has 2 80's and like 2 within distance. It's what keeps her interested in this game still.
First char, ever, ever, NE Priest that made it to lv7. The I had the idea to make all the classes to see which one I loved most.Human Warlock won, and I leveled him gradually to 70. Then some guild drama popped up, so I rolled an Orc Shaman to get away from it all. He shot up in bursts, 1-20, 20-34,34-48, 48-52, 52-60, 60-68. And then xpac hit and I left my warlock at 72 and hustled my shaman to 80. All this time I had more alts coming. Right now I sit at....80 Shaman76 DK72 Warlock37 Mage 32 Warrior 30 Priest (deleted)And countless alts i got to around 20 then deleted to make new alts.
Right now I have about 20+ alts spread across three servers. and yet I only have 2 of them on the upper side of 70.I started my mage because the idea of free food was a great idea to me since my first was a human warrior. After a lot of alts finally came my druid who I plan to go resto on since I saw a mate play his druid and suddenly I wanted to do that too.I love the old world content, and run back there to go plundering for old relics such as the Feralheart Raiment and Deathcharger's Reins. Recently I have started to plunder Outland for interesting items such as the Reins of the Raven Lord. But it's still more fun to do it when you needed to get a group together and do it at the right level.
My first character I ever made, was my gnome warlock, who I slowly leveled when I could. Got him to about 50~, then xfered him to my current server because I met some friends there and felt I liked it more, and then withing a few months of WotLK, got him to 70. I already knew I loved raiding (tk/ssc on a friends Spriest) so I continued to do that thru t5 content, until wrath, and now im one of the top locks in the best guild on my server, and since then I have an army of alts, and my 80 DK for tanking lol.For myself, I don't like lower levels much, but I love experiencing instances/groups while having different roles and/or abilities, and certain zones I absolutely love questing through (STV is one, gotta love pvp).So far, im sitting at just on my main server, 80 warlock, 80 dk, 72 Druid, then every class except mage at 40 or under, and the mage I have at 32 is on a horde server for me lol.
Hello. My name is Pockafwye... and I'm an Alt-aholic.80 Warrior (Horde)71 Rogue (Horde)49 Warlock (Alliance)33 Mage (Horde)24 Hunter (Horde)21 Druid (Horde)and... a new death knight I've restarted a couple of times because playing through their newbie quests was fun.I just like to see the game from different angles, mostly. My rogue was first, and is a favorite. My warrior is currently my main. I started her because my guild (a small group) needed another warrior. My warlock was a character I started so I could play along with my husband when he got the itch to see what the alliance side was like. He was playing a priest, and wanted a mage, so we paired up and played for a while.
On my main server I have80 Rogue76 Druid71 DK70 Hunter41 Shaman28 WarlockI just like to play different classes every now and then :p
ah yes the alt fever, i remember it well (mainly because i still have it a little). at one point i had/have:Warlock (first main, made it to 44 before deleting)Priest (second main, played to 70 then leveled to 80 when xpac came out AFTER....)Mage (current main and favorite class so far, 80 and geared)Pally (played to 24 before losing interest and deleting)Rogue (19 twink just to check it out, lost interest but havent deleted yet; may level him yet...)Warlock again.. (currently at 45, missed having a pet so I rerolled; been on the backburner lately)DK (wanted to try melee without having level the rogue, currently at 65)Shammy (23 right now, another shot at melee, and want a more varied hybrid class than the priest)
I have a 76 Death Knight, a 56 Rogue and a 36 Mage on Stormscale EU, and a 60 Death Knight on Chromaggus EU.
I got this too, im playing to level 20 with any class and then i decide to take another one. The biggest problem for me is the gold costs it bring's with it. Buying the first BoE greenies my new "alt" can cost 30g, yes, when you have like 10 little alt, it's alot. (for such low levels).
I leveled several characters to the level cap on previous servers (actually had close to 4 level 60s before I moved), but eventually settled on one in BC and got a draenei priest to 70. Shortly after, I got a draenei paladin and a draenei shaman to 70 as well. Yeah, I like draenei. In 3.0, I started over from level 1 as a night elf druid who is now my only current 80. Thanks to the RAF program, I'm leveling the rest of the classes. I find it a lot of fun to learn the different classes, since to me, playing a different class is like playing a different game. When I get bored with one character, I just go play a different one.80 Night Elf resto druid79 Draenei Unholy DK71 Draenei shadow priest71 Draenei elemental shaman70 Draenei retribution paladin65 Draenei beastmastery hunter64 Human demonology warlock38 Dwarf combat rogue32 Night elf protection warrior17 Draenei frost mageIt gives me a goal to work towards: having all 10 classes at the level cap with epic gear and epic flying mounts and as many achievements as I can. Perfecting just one character doesn't give me enough to do.
Hey...copycats!
I'm not an altoholic, at least I don't consider myself to be one.I have an 80 rogue which was and still is my main character, I enjoy playing the most. I speed-levelled a priest to 80 because my guild was in need of a backup healer (and this is the character I currently play the most to get some gear), and that ends the list of max level characters I have. A part from that I have a 60 death knight, 39 warlock, 36 paladin, 22 mage, 21 shaman and 12 warrior. My main reason for starting the other classes was to "check them out". I wanted to see how they play, and perhaps I would find some class that suits me better than my rogue. So far I still feel the best playing as my rogue. Knowing other classes helps a lot though. I know what to expect from them both at pvp and pve and can give tips to people that are only just beginning to know their class.
