The All 3 rares from Dune Dominance spawn on the Mid of Endless Sands.
Will appear a mark on the map when these rares are up.
After kill the 3 rares you'll receive Arsenal: Weapons of Glorious Domination.

Iska, Outrider of Ruin spawn mounted in Rhuv, Gorger of Ruin. Can drop Iska's Mawrat Leash, Staff of Broken Coils, Rotculler's Encroaching Shears.
Reanimatrox Marzan spawn mounted in Phalangax, the Final Grasp.
High Reaver Damaris spawn mounted in Edra, the Will Grazer. Can drop High Reaver's Sickle.

Respawn times for these are very long right now it looks like. The best guess I have is every few hours around the 40-45 mark in the hour if anyone is curious. Have camped and they have spawned twice thus far. One was at 8:45 PM PST, the next was at 1:40 PM PST the next day. Will update.

There will be a flavor text in chat that says "A loud rumbling echoes in the distance as the northern sands begin to shift" for spawns.

EDIT: Respawn times seem to be very random as of now. Not sure if that's intentional or bugged. Iska spawned at 1:18 PM PST, and then Marzan spawned at around 1:54-55 PM PST, so not even an hour later. So my best guess would be anywhere between the :40-55 minute mark for spawns every few hours. At least I feel like that's what Blizzard would be going for.

Today I sat here waiting for the spawn from the moment the servers came online. It took 5 hours from that moment for the rare to spawn

Will they always spawn 5hrs after the server comes up? Looking forward to other people sharing their experiences today/ next reset.

PS- another thing I don't see mentioned here. When the rare spawns, it is unattackable for 2 minutes! So if you see the emote, "A loud rumbling echoes in the distance as the northern sands begin to shift" - drop what you are doing, hit your Silver Shardhide Whistle, you can make it!

This does not give many xmogs, I've seen : polearms, 1H mace or axe, 2H mace.

Does not give : sword/warglaives/dagger/staff/ranged/fist

I finished the achievement today and got Deadeye's Spirit Piercer for my hunter, i was pretty shocked because i thought i was gonna get some crap item or just crap stats the item level was 246.

As a rogue I can confirm I obtained all appearances on characters that could wield them. Unfortunate there is no daggers but it's a nice achievement with nice mogs (for the chars who can wield the items).

I can confirm that you receive all appearances when you complete the achievement, regardless of the class you originally used.

Completed on a death knight. Logged onto my warrior and the shield appearance was available.

the spawn rate on these is HORRENDOUS. camped for four hours and one still hadnt popped yet. couple that with the fact that their unique drops are not anywhere near guaranteed drops and ye....screw blizzard

Got this today and love the flail mog, super cool and fun that they finally added another after so long since they did the mage tower prot paladin version. Yet I was also a bit disappointed, given it gimps demon hunters, rouge's, and hunters out of having a cool tmog to use. As it only awards a two hander mace, one hander mace, polearm and sheild. Kind of defeats the purpose of an arsenal and would of been nice to see one of each weapon slot so any class and spec can benefit from the mogs.

Overall though if you can use the mogs go for it, their all really cool, the sheild to me is meh though. Yet the weapons are all unique and one of a kind so far!

Might not be the right area to ask perhaps, but can someone explain to me why am I getting a crossbow drop - from the rares, when I'm a survival hunter? is that some sort a bug issue or is it common? I received the deadeye's spirit piercer, thanks

This is account wide once you completed it.

Finished it with my mage (who can't use any of the weapon), but the transmog is unlocked for other classes who can use it.

anyone have a idea on the timer? bc i have seen this spawn multilple times sometimes, and other days just wait there for hours and nothing.
Non to speak that i notice that rares rotate on Zereth.
So i was wondering when this is up if anyone have a timer for this event.

At least the rewards are account-wide, alt-friendly in the end. Just watch out for the emote in the chat about sands and stuff like that and check the map (you'll have ~2min to get there, plenty of time from anywhere in the zone, and in the future, with flying, a breeze).

I completed this achievement in aprox. 1 hour time. First I just waited the spawn out, but repeatedly refreshing the group finder (for groups in different shards) accelerated it a lot and I finished much quicker than expected.

These rares have started spawning as yellow bordered elite mobs for me, despite not killing them before on a character, or it being weeks since I last killed one on my current character. Not sure what's going on.

is there a list somewhere with the exact number of transmogs unlocked with this achievement?

I just did it on one of my alts, yes you can see some new appearances however I can only count 4 items. Two maces (One one-handed <<Flail of Balletic Carnage>> one two-handed <<Glimmering War Beacon>>), a shield (Escutcheon of Beautiful Death), a stave (Impaler's Graceful Lance).

I assumed almost all classes would get something based on the other drops available from their bosses. No warglaives, daggers, fist weapon or staff which are all possible drops. Was expecting a gold variant of each drop as all items in this transmog are golden.

These 4 mogs are all really nice so I am still happy to get them I am only confused and asking for your personal experience if you got more items or, as i said at the start, if you know of a list to check if i am missing something i could wear to look cool ha ha ha

Just wanted to add the quickest manner of getting the achievement that worked for me. Done within few hours.

Stay mounted on one of the floating balls in Arrrangement Index near bosses' spawn location.
(/way 66.50, 27.27) .

And just open group finder and wait. When boss spawns in any server, there are few minutes until it becomes targettable.
So you have enough time, do not worry.

I couldn't find a comprehensive list of all the weapon appearances dropped by these three dune elites, as well as which classes could loot them, so I made the list myself. Keep in mind that you do not need to be in the proper loot spec to to obtain the item, just be on that class. For example, my BM hunter can loot the polearms despite not being able to use the weapon in that spec. Some items can be dropped by all three, as noted below, while others require a specific elite to be up.

Learned it's important to note that Damaris doesn't spawn under that name, they spawn under the name of their horse, Edra, the Will Grazer.

As someone who recently (last 7 days) camped the living hell out of these rares in Zereth Mortis (ZM) avoiding Dragonflight and the crowded-lagfest here are my findings:

1) I came for the mount that drops from Rhuv, Gorger of Ruin (Iska's Mawrat Leash) but stayed for the transmogs
2) They respawn after someone kills a rare. Do not just wait AFK in the middle of the sand area, it won't speed up the process. Lvl 70s in blue/green gear can solo all the elites except Protector of the First Ones (needs 2 to open the gate - btw send suggestion to blizzard to fix this to be soloable as ZM will be less and less crowded as time goes on) and Zatojin (Lvl 70 cannot get 10 stacks of poison from the drones, so need lvl 60-65ish to do it). Respawn timer is about 1-2hour provided someone is constantly killing the rares. Longest i've seen was 12hrs on a dead shard. Shortest 50mins.
3) While cruising around the area killing rares I found new friends that are also camping the rares, each one for their own reasons. The rares drop genesis motes, cyphers, rep, transmogs, and latices for mounts/pets/ use addon Silverdragon-TomCatTours and Handynotes - Shadowlands to see what you want/need and which rares are up. cool weaps like Xy'rath's Signature Saber?bonus=6935 will seem non-rare by the time you're done
4) Phasing sucks. 2 examples that mega triggered me: 1) Just killed Otaris as a 61 DK, slow and grindy kill (6+ mins) Saw the ''swirling sands'' zone announcement -> started heading there (from Otaris area), when I got there, nothing...No corpse, no players(I got phased!) 2) Camped 3 hours, it was about to spawn surely, then I got phased. I altf4 from rage.
How to deal with phasing? Find friends across different shards eg for EU realms Draenor-Silvermoon (2 shards), ArgentDawn-Hyjal (another 2shards) etc.
Use addon https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/raretracker-rt ( I used core/ZM module for less lag), this addon shows the shard number. eg 15. 14. 14503 etc. This is the ''CRZ'' instance you are in. Sometimes 2 chars on same realm can be on 2 different shards...so use this to your advantage to track kills. Invite each other, make custom groups, use legacy raids for cross-faction if you're feeling generous. cooperate. With 3 players on 3 shards you get 3 kills in 1-3 hours. *Insert stonks meme*
5) Park as many alts as possible in ZM to camp this, use the classes you want transmogs on. Eg. if you want Marzan's Dancing Twin-Scythe park a Hunter/Monk /Druid there. If you want Reanimator's Beguiling Baton park a dk/pala/warrior there etc
Level 60s who already have access to Korthia can use the direct skip to ZM without any questing as long as your main char completed the story to access it (speak to the Voice of the Abiter in middle of the Enclave and complete this quest Call of the Primus then click ''skip to ZM pocopoc" dialogue)
If your lvl 60 does not have access to ZM but you have done the threads of fate, and have the covenant spells, you can after reaching 60, head to ZM ,speak to the voice, then head to your covenant, do the introduction, get your soulbind, then you get send back to Oribos, use the skip to the Korthia from Bolvar and then you can also skip to ZM .
I do not have any info on new chars who never did SL content. sorry
6)Loot is not spec dependent, you can put enchancement on loot spec as shaman and get the caster staff. i or be protection spec paladin and get 2h mace.t's random class-based loot.
7) Open the treasures near the sands (Mawsworn Supply Chest) can drop Spectral Mawrat's Tail
8) Use Enhancement Console for char buffs to make life easier such as Focialic Crystallic Spheroid Flexialic Crystallic Spheroid etc
9) Dumping some raw spawn data from paper notes I haven't tossed out

Boss spawned like 6 hours into camping. Currently waiting for other two.

May the light of mercy on your soul if you decide to try and do this in DF.

The respawn time is through the roof now. 3+ hours camped and all rares killed as they spawn. Still no spawn of boss. World boss killed 3 times during this camp and still, nothing.

Not sure how to even do this in DF now. You may spend 8+ hours camping just for it to be the wrong mob. Feels almost impossible to earn at this point.

Annoying ass spawn. Waiting 4 days for Iska. 4 times in row Damaris spawned, 2 times Reanimator and when i leave the PC for 3 minutes Iska spawns and nuked. $%^& this system.

I hope Blizz fixes this and has them on a more regular spawn timer. Have them spawn like 1-3 hours after the last one was killed. They can keep the random mob to spawn, but this whole running around and killing everything just to still wait 8+ hours for even one spawn is to much. I have the achievement from when SL was current but now on my server if I run into someone else there it is surprising. I really wish Blizz would do more with the "extra" zones that they put in the current game just to put something else in for players to hang around to do until the next expansion comes out. Panada land had Thunder Isle, Legion had Argus, BFA had Nazjatar and SL has this zone.

Idk if it was confirmed by Blizzard and I didn't know, but at this point, if Blizz won't do anything, they should at least officially confirm/clarify how the dune rares spawn. Is after x many other rares killed? Is it a low chance per rare kill? C'mon give us SOME piece of mind. It's not relevant content anymore, so why not spill the beans?

For those attempting to do this in Dragonflight, a few observations

I killed all three spawns within a 4 hour window, it is quite evident that other rares being killed are linked to these spawn timers. I suspect it is directly correlated with Protector of the First Ones being killed, however your results may vary. I ended up camping the spawn and leaving the game running with rare scanner running to alert to any rare spawns, prior to killing all three, I would say I was in the zone for a good (sporadic) 6-8 hours with no signs of the mobs.

My findings

I noticed that after Protector of the First Ones was killed, one of the three mobs would spawn not long after (however this could be a coincidence), generally within a 30min window
Important When I say they would spawn shortly after, this is to say they spawn after each unique/first time kill of Protector of the First Ones, i.e. Each time you kill Protector of the First Ones it will trigger a single spawn of one of the three mobs
Reanimatrox Marzan spawned within 5mins after the kill of the Protector
High Reaver Damaris spawned within 15mins after the kill of the Protector
Iska, Outrider of Ruin unfortunately I don't have timings as I was afk camping and not paying attention, but my assumption is this was also triggered and likely occurred within the perceived 30min window post the protector kill

I hope this helps, again my advice for Dragonflight would be just camp and leave WoW running and do some other tasks on your PC and keep an ear out for the rare scanner alert.

Also a warning - the mobs are killed super fast so make sure you tag them asap, there are generally two mobs spawned that need to be tagged/killed to get the credit for each.

So, for the people who wants to farm these rares, here is my theory:
As jbeffektd said, Protector of the First Ones share its spawn with the rares from the Dune Dominance achievement.
Protector of the First Ones has a spawn cooldown of 30min-1hour, if Protector of the First Ones is up, Reanimatrox Marzan, High Reaver Damaris and Iska, Outrider of Ruin cannot spawn.
When Protector of the First Ones is dead, Reanimatrox Marzan, High Reaver Damaris and Iska, Outrider of Ruin can spawn ONLY if they are not been killed since 3hours at least.

For maximized chance to get one of the three rares, kill Protector of the First Ones 3 hours after one of your attempt, wait 10 minutes and one of them should spawn.

In my case, I killed Protector of the First Ones one time during the night, Reanimatrox Marzan spawned 10 minutes later. I tried to kill Protector of the First Ones 30 minutes later when it spawned but nothing happened. I tried multiple time during a range of two hours and nothing happened too. Only 3 hours exactly after I killed Reanimatrox Marzan, I killed Protector of the First Ones again and Iska, Outrider of Ruin spawned 10 minutes later. So, maybe it is a rotation between the 3 rares.
Reanimatrox Marzan => Iska, Outrider of Ruin => High Reaver Damaris => Reanimatrox Marzan

Killed the Destabilized Core a couple of min after the Protector of the First Ones and 1 second later the event for High Reaver Damaris started. It's 100% bound to killing other rares.

Been farming the mount for over 2 years now. Over 80 kills of ISKA (No idea on the other rares but a LOT). Countless hours spent in Zereth farming rares in the hope of spawning. There are way to many theories on what actually makes Iska spawn but to me it's when a player has given up all hope and finally leaves the zone. The next player who arrives kills a random rare and there she spawns.

A lot of people saying protector is the way to go. They are 100% incorrect. i have farmed here non stop during Shadowlands and all through DF. I've played on full shards and dead shards. It's got nothing to do with a specific rare. It is 100% zone activity. Things being done in the zone, be that quests, rares, dailies, puzzes, chests. I've had Iska spawn on a dead shard after opening a chest. Its completely toxic to make us do old content for hours and not in the spirit of the game at all. It promotes unhealthy gameplay.

The only way our sanity is restored is if we all put in feedback to Blizzard that the way this rare and mount is structured is completely toxic and needs to be redone. They can keep the random 1/3 spawn. They can keep the 1/100 chance on the mount. What they need to do is INCREASE the dune dominance rares spawning. I am begging all of you who read this comment to please submit feedback to Blizzard so that another fellow mount hunter in the future won't have to do this horrible grind.
