Massive aoe here! The most important part of this fight is to run away while she is casting Spiked Tongue. Her poison debuff can be dispelled and dispel should be saved for your tank, as they can get two different types of poison (so far, this may change from beta).

When you have a circle at your feet, try to get far from each other to drop your poison pools and get out of them immediately. Group will be consistently taking damage throughout the fight and make sure to kill adds as they spawn. They have very little health.

Naraxas -> Can't Eat Just One
Avoid Rancid Maw. He will create acid areas in melee zone Toxic Retch so avoid it, boss hit box is large so you can stand pretty far away from him and still do damage. When tank gets targeted by Spiked Tongue and runs away melee should watch out because when the cast ends and the tank not in the melee zone yet the boss will start killing melee. Kill Wormspeaker Devout because they can be eaten by boss - he get's Ravenous buff.

Achievement Can't Eat Just One - just let the boss eat and get 6 Ravenous buffs

Neltharion's Lair is in Snowblind Messa Highmountain zone. Entrance is easy to find, start your way from Thunder Totem's second floor go to the direction of Snowblind Messa (49.9, 63.6), when you reach the bridge turn right. Go along the road and you'll see a dungeon entrance. Entrance coordinates: 49.6, 68.5.

Tanking as a Brewmaster, I've gotten the impression that I can "stick" to the barrier at the entry to the arena for spiked tongue.

Using the puddles on the ground was news to me (... silly me). I've just been rolling away and using Transcendence, but if I manage to get to the barrier and run towards it, I've never been dragged backwards.

I don't know if this is intentional, or if I've happened to have my movement speed boosted right at that moment from an external source. Has happened with three different groups so far.

Just solo'd this guy on heroic as a mistweaver monk from 100%-0%. I supposedly didn't hit the record button before starting but it has the little ending part when I killed it. I did the other 2 as brewmaster and solo'd those also. However I cannot solo the last boss yet. Magma sculptures kill. I will try another day. I do think I have world first Naraxas solo though. Nothing else online about anyone else soloing it, if they did, grats. But I have legit proof I will be uploading soon of world first solo.

It's actually really simple, hot yourself, don 't kill adds and put Transcendence behind the eggs closest to the barrier blocking you from leaving. He will not pull you, and the damage from the Ravenous after the drogbars are eaten do not affect his ranged abilities. I was at 18 stacks when I finished him, so that was 900% increased dmg. It was all doing about the same to me. It was actually easier then soloing the other bosses. There doesn't seem to be a berserk timer so all you gotta do is hit chi burst every now and then, and Crackling jade lightning him to death!

I will be doing this fight again recorded sometime for actual video proof since I supposedly didn't hit record.

Just did this on heroic. and would like to point out (not sure if it's the same for mythic now too) that they hotfixed the wall out, so you can no longer run into it to escaped Spiked tongue. :/

If you are wondering like me why so many people would leave party after this boss: They were only farming reputation with Highmountain Tribe.

Overview – Naraxas emerges from a deep burrow to feed, drawing players towards her maw with her [Spiked Tongue]. As the fight progresses, additional drogbar jump into the area and run towards Naraxas as sacrifices, granting her stacks of [Ravenous].
On Heroic difficulty, the crowd in the stands begins Hurling Rocks, doing continuous damage to the party.
- Damage Dealers –
  Kill drogbar before they can be devoured by Naraxas.
  Avoid standing in pools of [Toxic Retch].
- Healers –
  Heal allies hit by [Rancid Maw].
  Allies consumed by [Spiked Tongue] take massive damage.
- Healers –
  Heal allies hit by [Rancid Maw].
  Allies consumed by [Spiked Tongue] take massive damage.
  The crowd begins [Hurling Rocks] to damage the party.
- Tanks –
  If Naraxas is not engaged in melee combat, she damages the entire party with [Putrid Skies].
  Run away from Naraxas when she starts to cast [Spiked Tongue].
  At 20% health, Naraxas goes into a [Frenzy].
- Tanks –
  If Naraxas is not engaged in melee combat, she damages the entire party with [Putrid Skies].
  Run away from Naraxas when she starts to cast [Spiked Tongue].
  At 20% health, Naraxas goes into a [Frenzy].
  Pools formed by [Rancid Maw] can be used to reduce the pull strength of [Spiked Tongue].
Naraxas
- Putrid Skies – Spews acid on the entire party when not engaged in melee combat, inflicting 312902 Nature damage.
- Rancid Maw – Fires a ball of venom at a random enemy's destination that does 195564 Nature damage on impact and leaves a pool of Toxic Bile.
  Also, anyone caught within the pool has their movement speed reduced by 50%.
- Toxic Retch – Retches bile, leaving behind toxic pools that inflict 2 Nature damage every 0.5 sec around the boss and inflicting additional 3 Nature damage every 1 sec to the party for 5 sec.
- Spiked Tongue – Naraxas latches onto her target with a spiked tongue and pulls them into her maw, inflicting 49 Physical damage every 1 sec for 5 sec. Run away from Naraxas to avoid being eaten. Every time she eats, she gains an additional stack of Ravenous.
  - Ravenous – Every victim Naraxas devours increases her damage by 50%. This effect stacks.
- Frenzy – Naraxas roars, increasing her attack speed by 20% and the Physical damage she deals by 20%.
Wormspeaker Devout – Leaps in from above and rushes towards Naraxas to be eaten.
- Fanatic's Sacrifice – Offers their flesh to the Mother of Worms. Each drogbar eaten grants Naraxas a stack of Ravenous.
  - Ravenous – Every victim Naraxas devours increases her damage by 50%. This effect stacks.
Angry Crowd – As the fight progresses, the crowd becomes increasingly hostile.
- Hurling Rocks – As the crowd above Naraxas becomes more violent, they hurl rocks at the party, inflicting 187741 Physical damage to random targets every 5 sec.
