These items do not require any specific skill level in their profession, only a character that has learned Dragon Isles Engineering, Dragon Isles Blacksmithing or Dragon Isles Jewelcrafting respectively. Even a lvl 60 that just arrived on the isles can help you out with this one!

Does anybody know if the evoker can teach the recipe to an alt character? In other words, should i bother getting those professions on my alts?

Once the Cracked Titan Gem goes into your bags after defeating Scalecommander Sarkareth, the first quest will automatically pop up. The whole questline includes:

The legendary will automatically be equipped when you complete the scenario. Come prepared with an offhand and weapon enchant!

Get ready for your epic adventure! The quest is pretty vague, but once you are on it, you are able to obtain any of the quest items required.

1. Purchase all of the following items on the AH or you can craft them yourself (cost about 250k total as of July 2023):
*Edit: thanks to Papageno for mentioning below that any quality of mats will suffice*

50 Awakened Order (or 500 Rousing Order)
20 Shadowed Alloy
50 Obsidian Seared Alloy
50 Arclight Capacitor
20 Dracothyst
20 Elemental Harmony
20 Illimited Diamond
12 Empty Soul Cage
1 Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler

2. Use the Ancient Memories on yourself or another jewelcrafter, blacksmith, or engineer to get a new quest to complete group content: Temporal Gossamer. Once you fill the bar, you can turn the quest in at the Seat of the Aspects to gain a buff to earn 50% more Temporal Vestigials (Empowered Temporal Gossamer). I am an engineer so I used it on myself. The experience may vary using it on another player as I'm not sure if they need to do the content with you. You will get credit for doing raids and dungeons or killing mobs in Fyrakk assaults, so you can continue on the list before completing it. After using it on myself, I still have the buff after completing the questline.

3. Run any difficulty of the Aberrus raid, starting with heroic, to obtain 20 Ancient Elementium Fragment. I got enough from just one run of heroic. They drop from the bosses, so do not forget to loot them.

4. Farm Fyrakk assaults. This will drop Temporal Vestigial (you need 400) and Everburning Shadowflame (you need 30). You can do any group content for temporal vestigial, but it is much slower. I was only getting 3 or so from a Mythic dungeon. Kill the smaller mobs to get 5 Ward of Igira to spawn the medium mobs to get 5 Ward of Fyrakk to spawn the Forgemaster, so just keep killing and spawning mobs. Look for the yellow dots on the map to indicate the suffusion crucibles where you can spawn mobs with the yellow wards. The forgemaster only spawns in one location, the suffusion mold, where you use the blue wards. You can also kill the disciple when it's up. This is best done in a group and took maybe an hour or two.

5. Do as many digs as you can with Myrrit in Zaralek Caverns. Buy a Bartered Dig Map from Ponzo, use the free dig that week that is already loaded at the NPC, and use Lost Dig Map you get from the Scentsational Niffen Treasures from completing A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen. Once you are by the NPC, right click the map to load it. He can only hold 3 maps at a time and you can only have one of each type of map in your bag at a time. You can only buy and use one bartered map per week. I had two lost maps saved from a previous week in my mailbox.

The Fleeting Glowspores will go directly in your bags after completing a dig and I received 0-14 from each one. You will need 50 total, so if you don't have enough maps you can wait until the following week, or look for Smelly Trash Pile or Smelly Disturbed Dirt (with an Sturdy Expedition Shovel in your bags) in Zaralek Cavern to finish it out. I needed just two or three after the 5 digs.

6. Go to 4 locations to obtain souls using your Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler. The item has a 5 minute cooldown once successfully used and you can't get more than one of the same type of soul for 15 minutes, so best to do a rotation. If you are unsuccessful, it has a 30 second cooldown and won't consume your soul cage. Take a friend who can tank and/or interrupt the mob so it doesn't do a knockback or stun on your while channeling. If the mob is cycloned you can't use the item, it will go on a short cooldown. Once you complete the channel, kill the elemental within 30 seconds.

Once the encaged soul is obtained, you must wait 15 minutes until the soul becomes docile to open it and you will obtain one of the crafting reagents. You need 3 of each so do 3 rotations.

5. Every 30 minutes you can teach someone to craft a piece of the legendary. They have the buff to craft the item for 30 minutes and they will receive a first craft bonus. The skill of that crafter doesn't matter. If you are a jewelcrafter, engineer, or blacksmith, you can use the item on yourself. Once you use the item on the other player (they can be of opposite faction), place a work order for the item from the player who has the buff from the quest item.

6. Once you have all three pieces, turn the quest into Nozdormu and complete the final quest to obtain your Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy. You will get a feat of strength called Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy.

7. Once you return to Valdrakken, the message will appear that you obtained the legendary.

My friend was supposed to craft the item for me. It took us a lot of attempts, so I wanted to share my experience:

1. For me it was not possible to give the crafting order to a player of the other faction or another realm (outside of my own guild). Although the crafting buff can be given to them.
2. If a player is learning the professions extra just to craft the items, before rebuffing, make sure they don't already have the crafting buff, otherwise they won't be able to learn the new recipe. For example: After crafting the blacksmith item, the player learns to be an engineer. But he still has the buff from before (due to logout). If the player is buffed again, he will not learn the recipe for engineers.

You can get the four souls on Azure Span, and even better, two on each subzone:

Imbu (Airy and Frosty Soul):

On the off chance that anyone else is dumb like me and was confused about not being able to use the Ancient Memories item when targeting themself, apparently you need to have no target at all to use it on yourself. If you self-target, it gives an error saying "target is not in your party", which is not very helpful

Ancient Memories is missing from my bags as of 10.2.

I am awaiting a response to a ticket as I am nervous about dropping the quest.

As of 10.2 the item Ancient Memories is super bugged but I made it work somehow:

At first it showed up in my inventory as a "?" item with no tooltip. After abandoning the quest and picking it back up I got TWO ancient memories in my inventory, neither of which were usable on another person to teach them how to craft.

What I ended up doing:

1. Gather all the materials needed.
2. Learn Dragon isles blacksmithing > Use ancient memories with NO TARGET (which teaches yourself the blacksmithing component) > Craft the blacksmithing component
3. I thought I could double dip and learn Dragon Isles engi + JC; the memory ended up not teaching me anything and went on 30 minute cooldown.
4. I abandon and pick up the quest again, this time getting a THIRD ancient memories in my bags, all three are on 30 minute cooldown.
5. After waiting half an hour I decide to play it safe, unlearn JC and only keep engineering. I use the THIRD ancient memories I got and it taught me how to make the engineering component > Craft the engineering component
6. Just to be safe I abandoned and picked up the quest again, giving me a FOURTH ancient memories. Also unlearned engineering and learned dragon isles jewelcrafting.
7. After waiting the last 30 minutes I use the fourth ancient memories, learned the jewelcrafting component and crafted it!

This could / should probably be done in many easier ways, but as of right now the item is just super bugged and I just wanted my legendary so this is how it went.

Abandoning and re-picking up the quest doesn't remove any of the farmed materials. Neither does unlearning professions remove the component from your bags. So you don't have to worry about that.

I've found somewhat of a fix for the 10.2 bug issue where the Ancient Memories isn't giving the buff to crafters.

1. Create macro "/use Ancient Memories"
2. For it to cast on a friendly player, the player MUST NOT be targeted. Use the mouseover macro to cast it on the crafter untargeted, and it will apply.

Doing this I've been able to craft the Jewelcrafting, and Engineering items (so far, waiting for the 3rd!)

This still isn't giving the quest Temporal Gossamer (I abandoned it to see if re-doing the pre-requisite would make it work.. it doesn't)

EDIT :

With the above method I managed to craft all three items, hand in the quest and craft the weapon without having to complete the Temporal Gossamer quest!

Unable to use the Ancient Memories on myself and the mouseover target macro also does not work anymore for me. I made a ticket and Blizzard gamemasters said I should make a bug report. Which I also did. A few weeks ago. Still doesn't work. Anyone have an alternate method?

It Takes a Village to Make an Artifact

Description

You must go now and seek aid to create the key components to forge a new glove. Essence of Order is normally difficult to find, but the memories you have acquired will allow you to recover them at many locations. This new glove will be one to empower your allies and your community... which means you will have to rely on others to aid you in this. Take the memories you've recovered and use them to teach others how to craft these parts.
